Carrying on the legacy that was left behind
There is always a difference between the current and previous generations. People will have broad-minded thoughts according to the changing times that will be exactly opposite of what the previous generation people might have followed. This is best explained by the culture and lifestyle differences that a first and third generation has. Now, there are several family-owned business ideas that run through many decades. Sometimes it is continued while some people will not be able to go on with the idea in the transforming time. Moreover, it is definitely a very important decision to make that will stay for many years to come.
Ben Friedman Toronto is a well-known name in Canada. The whole family has been into home care and ran a nursery home in the Los Angeles area when Ben was a little boy. In the process, he and his father created a rather strong bond which invited several similar characters in Ben. Friedman’s father was an administrator and made a significant impact in the long-term care facility. After his father passed away, his grandfather could not continue with the care facility as he did not want Ben to take up the responsibility at his small age. Eventually, the care was sold off.
Getting the spark to continue:
Ben, on the other hand, knew that he wanted to continue the legacy of his father and grandfather but did not know-how. He also knew he would ultimately find a way to come up with ideas that will recreate the legacy that was left behind when he was a young boy. This was the main motive of Rykka Care Centre, which focused on long-term care facilities just like what his father did.
Ben Friedman Toronto started the care facility 12 years ago and has been living in Canada since then. He is living with his wife Phyllis and his daughter Rykka. For him, there was no best way to honor his family tradition and business than naming it after his daughter. The center operates in multiple facilities in Ontario, Canada. All these care centers are successfully managed and by Friedman and Rykka’s partner Responsive Management Inc.
Facing challenges due to Covid-19:
Until the virus spread like a wildfire, they have been successfully continuing the care facility with all their energy. But as the virus spread even in the care, it became difficult to manage as there was a total failure of any information being provided by the government. Still, Rykka Care Facility does not tolerate any kind of misinformation about the level of security and care they provide to their residents. They still continue to care for all without any compromise and it is visible through the health of the residents.
